A Home That Grew With the Family: Watnall Extension Project

This family home in Watnall, Nottingham has been loved and lived in for many years. From the moment they bought it, the owners saw its potential — a place with room to grow as their family grew. Over time, they made small improvements, but they always knew that a larger, more strategic transformation would eventually be needed. When the moment finally felt right, they reached out for help to bring clarity, vision, and coherence to the home they already cherished.

Our role was to develop a unified architectural language that connected the old with the new, elevating both the character and functionality of the house. We also reimagined the interior layout, improving flow, natural light, and the relationship between key family spaces. The extension became an opportunity not just to add square metres, but to create a long-term home with purpose, comfort, and design that truly supports modern family life.
